With several historic sites and new attractions, Bartow County brings in tourists from all over Georgia and beyond. The Cartersville-Bartow County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau promotes the county’s tourist attractions, such as the Booth Western Art Museum, Red Top Mountain State Park, the Etowah Indian Mounds, Lake Allatoona and Barnsley Gardens Resort. These and other historic and scenic sites bring in countless tourists and sales tax revenues to the county. Seven municipalities provide downtown areas with historic buildings and shops. Euharlee has its Covered Bridge, while Cartersville and Adairsville have revitalized their downtowns, which feature unique retail shops and restaurants.
